BlackRock CEO sees dollar tensions between Trump and Fed
DAVOS, Switzerland (Reuters) – The U.S. is facing an amount of dollar strengthening, fuelling likely tensions relating to the new administration of Donald Trump and the Federal Reserve, the chief executive of asset manager BlackRock told a panel in Davos on Friday.
Larry Fink said with the World Economic Forum which they expected that Fed monthly interest rate hikes this current year could push-up the value of the U.S. currency “significantly”.
“Many of us should be aware at this time that we are going to be living an enormous amount a strong dollar,” he was quoted saying.
