Turkey says stronger dollar will be ‘bad news’ for emerging markets
DAVOS, Switzerland (Reuters) – Signals of your United States suggest the dollar could strengthen further of which this would be “bad news” for emerging markets, the deputy prime minister of Turkey said on Thursday from the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.
“A few of the mixed signals within the U.S. apparently suggest the dollar would strengthen … that might be bad news for emerging markets,” said Mehmet Simsek.
